The role of the Master Data Governance Professional is crucial in governing, maintaining, and enhancing the OASIS platform for Master Data Governance. This professional will be responsible for ensuring system stability, enhancements, and alignment with global master data policies.

  • Owning the OASIS Master Data Governance platform involves defining and maintaining governance workflows in coordination with domain experts.
  • This includes ensuring seamless integration between OASIS workflows and SAP PCE workflows, as well as collaborating with Business Governance and IT Domain Experts to translate governance rules into OASIS technical processes.
  • Another key responsibility is implementing governance controls in OASIS to enforce proper documentation uploads, Dow Jones screening triggers, and validation rules for material types and product stewardship documentation.
  • The Master Data Governance Professional acts as the escalation point for OASIS-related issues, workflows stuck in error, or integration failures.
  • Additionally, this professional drives system improvements, automation, and reporting for Master Data requests handled through OASIS.
  • Global training and user support for OASIS workflows are also provided by this professional.
  • Supporting internal and external audits by ensuring traceability and compliance of Master Data requests is another important aspect of this role.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of IT experience with a strong focus on Master Data Governance systems.
  • Strong functional and technical knowledge of SAP Customer, Vendor, and Material Master data.
  • Expertise in workflow design and integration between governance platforms and SAP.
  • Hands-on experience in Master Data request processes and global governance models.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and audit traceability.
  • Background in global data harmonization, master data cleanup, and migration initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and process improvement skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work with both business stakeholders and IT teams.
