Job Description

This role involves managing accounting, receivable management, and other financial operations in our Accounting & Finance department. You will work closely with our key stakeholders to drive results and ensure the smooth functioning of our financial systems.

  • Accounting: Manage daily accounting transactions in Zoho books, including updates and reconciliations.
  • Receivables: Prepare and send invoices to customers, follow up for timely collections, and perform other receivable tasks.
  • Cash Application: Accurately apply payments to customer accounts based on provided information, invoices, and remittance advice.
  • Daily Reconciliation: Conduct daily reconciliation of cash receipts, bank deposits, and customer accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Discrepancies: Investigate and resolve discrepancies between payment amounts, customer records, and invoices.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders, including sales and customer service teams, to address payment-related inquiries and resolve customer issues.

You will also be responsible for identifying and escalating potential issues or irregularities in cash transactions, preparing regular cash application reports, bank reconciliations, and other financial reports as needed, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3-4 years' experience in managing accounting and receivable operations in growing companies.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and tools, such as Zoho books, MS Excel, Google Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with customers.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
