Job Title

An experienced HCM Technical Consultant is required to deliver the technical components of Oracle Cloud HCM systems implementation, upgrade, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of at least two HCM modules, including Core HR, and experience with Redwood framework, Journey configuration, and Page personalizations using VBS.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Delivering the technical components related to implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of the Oracle HCM Cloud systems.
  • Developing HCM Extracts for reporting, analysis, and integration with other systems.
  • Developing Reports using BI Publisher.
  • Performing data conversion using HDL.
  • Developing fast formulas.
  • Having functional understanding of at least two HCM modules, including Core HR.
  • Understanding of Redwood framework.
  • Understanding of Journey configuration.
  • Performing Page personalizations and customizations using VBS.
  • Migrating existing page personalizations to Redwood using VBS.
  • Developing integrations using REST APIs.
  • Nice to have OIC development skills and experience.
  • Nice to have VB development skills and experience.
  • Preparing and submitting technical documentation.
  • Participating in requirement collection discussion with business.
  • Managing integration between HCM Cloud and external applications or systems within the organization.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Providing training and support to business users.
  • Working closely with the IT team to ensure data security, backup, and recovery plans are in place and effective.
  • Collaborating with the Oracle Support on issues that require escalated support.

The qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a HCM technical consultant.
  • Knowledge of integration tools and third-party applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • HCM Cloud functional certifications are a plus.
