Senior Manager Internal Audit

The role of Senior Manager Internal Audit plays a pivotal part in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our financial systems. This position is critical to ensuring that our organization operates within the boundaries of established guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk-Based Audits

We conduct thorough risk-based internal audits for assigned areas, with a focus on identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing timely corrective actions. The goal is to ensure efficient completion of work while adhering to set standards.

Departmental Initiatives

This Senior Manager will drive department-level initiatives aimed at enhancing functionality and efficiency within the Internal Audit team. By doing so, we aim to improve overall performance and contribute to the organization's success.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

We engage in timely discussions with stakeholders to ensure effective communication regarding observations and inputs. This collaborative approach enables us to address concerns proactively and foster a culture of transparency.

Team Management

This Senior Manager will be responsible for managing a team to achieve efficient working practices. By promoting a culture of teamwork, we can deliver high-quality results and meet stakeholder expectations.

Quality Assurance

We are committed to ensuring the quality of audits and documentation related to them. This includes preparing and reviewing Risk Control Matrices (RCMs) and internal audit reports for senior management reviews.

Thematic Reviews

This Senior Manager will perform thematic reviews of processes to evaluate system gaps and provide assurance on specific business processes. By doing so, we can identify areas for improvement and implement targeted solutions.

Collaboration and Coordination

We coordinate closely with various stakeholders and Heads of Department (HODs) to ensure smooth functioning of the Internal Audit team. This collaborative approach enables us to share knowledge, resources, and best practices.
