Job Title: Power BI Developer and Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI developer and administrator to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering full lifecycle Power BI administration, including patches, updates, AD security, account management, capacity management, and documenting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor Gateway VM and Service principal creation, ensuring seamless data connectivity and access control.
  • Configure data gateways for access to multiple data sources, leveraging enterprise-wide data integration strategies.
  • Automate and manage environments, configurations, integrations, deployments, and documentation using Power BI rest API, promoting scalability and efficiency.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and high levels of customer service through proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Manage Data Loss Prevention policies at the tenant and environment levels, safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining compliance.
  • Provide best practices and standards for effective Power BI administration, driving business value and optimizing performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or foreign degree equivalent, demonstrating academic rigor and technical expertise.
  • 5+ years of experience in the field of Business Intelligence or Information Management, showcasing a strong track record of success and innovation.
  • 3 years of professional experience in Power BI Administration, highlighting specialized knowledge and hands-on skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI Environment administration and admin portals, with a focus on process optimization and operational efficiency.
