Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to support our enterprise data initiatives. This role combines hands-on data engineering and business intelligence with reporting delivery, ensuring timely and accurate insights for stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI, capable of building scalable data pipelines while developing high-quality dashboards and reports that enable better decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Publish Reports
  • Implement data models tailored for reporting.
  • Create reusable DAX measures, Power Query (M) transformations, and semantic layers.
  • Ensure reports and dashboards follow governance, security, and performance best practices.
  • Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and report automation.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data into data warehouses and marts.
  • Work with onsite data architects and engineers to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance.
  • Build optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Support integration of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into reporting environments.
  • Collaborate with onsite leads, data architects, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide status updates, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure alignment with enterprise BI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with offshore team members to maintain consistent coding standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of reporting workflows.

Requirements:

  • 6–9 years of experience in Data Engineering & Business Intelligence.
  • Strong hands-on skills in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service).
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS (ETL development).
  • Knowledge of data modeling principles (dimensional, normalized, denormalized).
  • Experience working in an offshore delivery model with global teams.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for BI deployments.
  • Familiarity with data governance and security models in Power BI.
