Power BI Developer Job Description

As a Power BI Developer, you will design, develop and maintain complex data visualization solutions using advanced techniques.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI development, data modeling, and data analysis. Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M language), and SQL is essential.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, deliver actionable insights, and implement best practices in data visualization, governance, and security.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Connecting to various data sources and ensuring data accuracy and reliability
  • Developing and managing data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights
  • Implementing and enforcing best practices in data visualization and governance

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or related field
  • Proven experience in Power BI development and data visualization
  • Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
  • Hands-on experience with ETL, data preparation, and cleansing
