Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Operations Lead to oversee the financial health and growth of our company. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping our financial strategy, analyzing data, and making informed decisions to drive business success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, preferably in the technology services industry, with 8+ years of experience in financial management. Proficiency in financial software, excellent communication and leadership abilities, strong analytical skills, and detail orientation are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to optimize costs.
    • Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Business Partnering:
    • Baseline key cost levers and collaborate with leaders to establish benchmarks for assisting in pricing, contract structuring, and margin analysis for large deals.
    • Collaborate with delivery, sales, HR, and other teams to support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Accounting & Compliance:
    • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
    • Spearhead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities, including accruals & monthly analysis on actuals vs provisions.
    • Ensure compliance with India, US, and Canadian tax regulations and financial reporting standards, including coordination with auditors for periodic and annual audits.
  • Cash Flow & Risk Management:
    • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
    • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve organizational goals.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
    • Collaborate with practice heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
