Financial Operations Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Director to lead our organization’s financial management and reporting efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation.

They will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, prepare and review financial statements, analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies, and collaborate with other departments to create and manage budgets for different projects or operational areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial management strategies to optimize financial performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for decision-making.
  • Monitor cash flows and liquidity, optimize working capital management, and implement strategies to manage accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
  • Stay updated with advancements in financial technology and suggest relevant improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications like CPA, CMA, ACCA can be advantageous).
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Manager or in a similar financial management role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
