Operations Director Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our banqueting and catering services in Jaipur.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, planning and executing events, managing teams, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance event execution, guest experience, productivity, and profitability.
  • Lead a team of professionals in banqueting, kitchen stewarding, and F&B to deliver exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with sales, culinary, and service teams to deliver outstanding events.
  • Monitor quality standards, guest satisfaction, and service delivery across all events and catering operations.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and drive efficiencies to maximize profitability.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, food handling, and local regulations.
  • Builld and nurture client relationships to maximize repeat business and event referrals.
  • Analyze operational metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvements in processes and performance.
  • Coordinate with vendors for supplies, décor, AV, and event needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in hospitality, hotel management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years' operational leadership experience in banqueting and catering in hotels or high-volume venues in Jaipur.
  • Demonstrated expertise in team management, event operations, and logistical planning.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of handling premium events and client satisfaction.
  • Proficient with MS Office, event management systems, and financial controls.
