Microsoft 365 Administrator Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT professional to manage and support our Microsoft 365 environment, focusing on SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, and the Power Platform.

This role involves administering core Microsoft 365 services, configuring and maintaining site collections, document libraries, lists, and user permissions, overseeing lifecycle management and governance of Microsoft Teams and M365 Groups, and administering OneDrive policies for file sharing, synchronization, and retention.

  • Administer and manage core Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, and the Power Platform.
  • Configure and maintain site collections, document libraries, lists, and user permissions.
  • Oversee the lifecycle management and governance of Microsoft Teams and M365 Groups.
  • Administer OneDrive policies for file sharing, synchronization, and retention.
  • Deploy and support solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages.
  • Provide technical support to resolve issues and respond to end-user inquiries.
  • Develop documentation to drive adoption and create training sessions.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and deliver M365-based solutions.
  • Implement security, compliance, and data loss prevention (DLP) policies.
  • Manage permissions and access controls across the M365 suite.
  • Monitor and respond to alerts related to governance, compliance, and data breaches.
  • Monitor service health, usage, and analytics using the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and PowerShell.
  • Generate reports on platform performance, adoption, and compliance metrics.
  • Design and implement workflow automation using Power Automate and SharePoint workflows.
  • Support business process reengineering initiatives using low-code/no-code tools.
  • Assist users in building customized solutions tailored to their workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration, with expertise in SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and the Power Platform.
  • Deep understanding of the M365 ecosystem, architecture, and integration capabilities.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting for M365 administration and automation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, retention policies, and data loss prevention practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
