A well-established organization is looking for a Cloud Security Specialist to support the development and maintenance of secure cloud infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities
  • To conduct thorough security assessments and audits of our cloud environment, identifying potential vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to address security incidents and implement remediation measures.
  • Develop and maintain security tools within the CI/CD pipeline, focusing on DevSecOps practices.
  • Monitor and analyze logs, events, and metrics to detect security threats and potential breaches.
  • Create and implement robust security measures for our cloud infrastructure, including network segmentation, access controls, and identity management.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in security engineering, preferably in cloud environments, with expertise in areas such as cloud security, web application security, incident response, threat hunting, and cybersecurity operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • In-depth knowledge of security principles, best practices, and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
  • Familiarity with static application security testing (SAST), dynamic application security testing (DAST), fuzzing, and other security tools.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They should also be able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
