Cloud Security Strategist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security strategy, with a focus on cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires a deep understanding of security offerings within cloud platforms and experience designing, developing, and building security reference architectures for public, private, and hybrid cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and building security reference architectures for public, private, and hybrid cloud-based systems
  • Possessing a firm understanding of security offerings within cloud platforms such as AWS/Microsoft Azure/GCP platforms
  • Identifying, designing, and deploying solutions to secure cloud usage, whether cloud-native or third-party solutions
  • Leading security vision and strategy around cloud-based applications, across all types (including Infrastructure, Platform, and Software as a Service (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS)
  • Coordinating with various technology and security teams for all matters related to cloud security
  • Analyzing business requirements and translating them to technical security solutions
  • Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes (secure software development (Application Security), data protection, cryptography, key management, identity, and access management (IAM), network security) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments
  • Experience working and responding to RFI/RFP requirements for global customers, writing SOW, effort estimation

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in security architecture, with at least 3 years of experience on cloud platforms - Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and GCP
  • Strong understanding of security offerings within cloud platforms such as AWS/Microsoft Azure/GCP platforms
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them to technical security solutions
