Senior Associate Credit Job Description

This is a senior-level position in the credit team, focusing on credit analysis and deal execution.

  • The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of experience in credit analysis or underwriting with financial institutions, lenders, or investment managers.

The Senior Associate Credit will work closely with the US lending team to support underwriting, credit analysis, and transaction execution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting clear, accurate, and comprehensive credit memos for transactions.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing loan term sheets.
  • Conducting financial and credit analysis to support underwriting decisions.
  • Assisting in identifying and assessing risks, and providing recommendations to mitigate them.
  • Collaborating with the US lending team to ensure timely and efficient deal execution.

The successful candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid foundation in credit fundamentals. Excellent writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential. Experience in investor relations is preferred, and exposure to real estate debt is highly valued.

Requirements:

  • 3–7 years of credit analysis / underwriting experience with financial institutions, lenders, or investment managers.
  • Candidates with prior experience in investor relations will be preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in credit fundamentals.
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to prepare professional reports and memos.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Exposure to real estate debt is highly preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time remote position based in India.
  • Must align with US Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours.
