We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our User Experience team.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with developers from inception through implementation and influence design and product decisions based on UX best practices and research.

About the Job
  • You will collaborate in an agile environment using modern design and prototyping tools like Axure, Sketch, Zeplin, Flinto, and Adobe CC.
  • Works with a cross-functional team defining user stories and UX deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Influences design and product decisions based on UX best practices and research.
  2. Collects, analyzes, presents, and acts upon feedback and manages changes to deliverables.
  3. Presents work in a clear and compelling manner to stakeholders.
  4. Designs the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences.
  5. Develops conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes.
  6. Develops and maintains detailed specifications and design patterns.
  7. Gathers and translates rules and assets into UX systems, programs, and enterprise solutions.
  8. Prepares, manages, updates, and distributes UX documentation.
  9. Advocates for the user and collaborates with business owners to develop features and flows that align with the user's needs.
  10. Creates research strategies based on project KPIs and develops usability test plans, scripts, and scenarios for prototypes.
  11. Uses research techniques to determine ease-of-use and comprehension of designs and ideas.
  12. Designs, recruits/schedules, and moderates usability studies and user interviews.
  13. Provides timely status reporting on all projects.
  14. Manages all communications necessary to get the project done, including negotiating with key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or other related discipline, or equivalent experience or training.
  • Two years of experience as a UX practitioner with a background in user experience design, interaction design, or similar.
