Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and fire fighting design, with the ability to produce high-quality designs that meet client requirements.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce concept designs, schematic designs, design developments, and construction designs for plumbing and fire fighting systems.
  • Develop tender drawings for plumbing and fire fighting systems, including waste, soil, and rain water, sprinkler, hose reel, and fire extinguisher systems.
  • Provide calculated notes and prepare shop drawings for submission and resubmission.
  • Select and prepare materials for submission.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to request quotations and technical documents.
  • Take off BOQs for firefighting and plumbing systems.
  • Prepare information on design, structure specification, material, equipment, estimated cost, and construction time.
  • Consult with consultants to determine MEP function and spatial requirements.
  • Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Architect, and Structure teams.
  • Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawing and specification documents.
  • Plan project layouts.
  • Prepare scale drawings.
  • Collaborate with supervisors in preparing technical reports and installation on site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
