Expert Land Acquisition Specialist Needed

We are seeking a highly skilled land acquisition professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects, considering technical feasibility, connectivity, and regulatory clearances.
  • Manage the end-to-end land acquisition process including scouting, negotiation, documentation, registration, and handover.
  • Build relationships with local landowners, agents, revenue officials, district-level authorities, and government departments.
  • Conduct title due diligence and ensure legal sanctity of land through coordination with legal teams.
  • Oversight of RoW (Right of Way) acquisition, mutation, land conversion, and compliance with state-specific renewable energy policies.
  • Maintain clear documentation, including agreements to sale, lease deeds, power of attorney, and land maps.
  • Monitor local land price trends, zoning regulations, and state incentives to ensure cost-effective deals.
  • Supervise a field team of land officers, surveyors, and external consultants.
  • Address conflict resolution and any legal or community-related land acquisition issues.
  • Regularly update management on project progress, risk factors, and mitigation plans.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of land acquisition processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.
