Electrical Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the seamless execution of electrical systems for our large-scale construction project.

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely completion of electrical projects, managing budgets, schedules, and teams with expertise at the forefront of this transformative initiative.

  1. Design, review, and prepare detailed electrical drawings and specifications.
  2. Oversee and manage high-voltage substation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  3. Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower, equipment, and resources.
  4. Conduct regular site visits to track progress, ensure consistency with plans, and take corrective actions to meet completion schedules.
  5. Raise and verify material and erection bills, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  6. Assist in procuring electrical equipment and floating business inquiries aligned with project specifications.
  7. Collaborate with contractors, electricity board officials, supervisors, and subcontractors for seamless project execution.
  8. Supervise execution work, including electrical systems, HVAC, LV systems, fire fighting, and related infrastructure.
  9. Coordinate with site construction managers to resolve time-sensitive, construction-related electrical issues.
  10. Interpret and implement plans, specifications, drawings, and engineering documents effectively.

Our ideal candidate has strong knowledge of high-voltage systems (220KV, 11KV substations) and experience in project execution, specifically in electrical systems for large-scale construction.

Candidates should have excellent skills in project scheduling, budget management, and site progress monitoring, as well as expertise in interacting with contractors, sub-contractors, and regulatory officials.

Familiarity with multidisciplinary execution works such as HVAC, LV systems, and fire fighting is essential.

Proficiency in interpreting engineering and construction documents is also required.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary for this position.
