Our team is looking for a skilled and experienced AR developer to join our ranks. As a key member of our crew, you will play a crucial role in building and shipping mobile AR features, leveraging your expertise in markerless/object tracking, plane/mesh, depth & occlusion, anchors, and hit-testing.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Implement AR Features: We are seeking a talented AR developer to design, implement, and ship mobile AR features using cutting-edge technologies like AR Foundation 4/5, ARCore, and ARKit.
  2. Integrate OpenCV: Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience with integrating OpenCV into AR interactions, focusing on image/object detection, segmentation, and runtime updates.
  3. Optimize Performance: To ensure seamless user experiences, we need someone who can optimize AR applications for real-time performance across iOS and Android platforms, utilizing tools like Unity Profiler, Xcode Instruments, and Android Profiler.
  4. Debugging and Release Pipelines: As a seasoned AR developer, you will own debugging and release pipelines, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Your tech notes should be concise and informative.
Requirements:
  • AR Development Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in AR development, with proven track records in production apps using AR Foundation 4/5, ARCore, and ARKit.
  • Object Tracking Expertise: Proven object tracking experience, including image/object databases and runtime updates, as well as successful OpenCV integrations.
  • Profiling and Optimization: Strong skills in profiling and optimization on mobile platforms, utilizing tools like Unity Profiler, Xcode Instruments, and Android Profiler.
  • Git and CI Basics: Familiarity with Git, CI basics, modular code, and excellent troubleshooting skills.
Nice to Have:
  • Advanced Skills: Experience with Shader Graph/HLSL for lightweight VFX/occlusion tricks, Sentis/Barracuda or on-device ML, and Niantic Lightship would be a significant asset.
  • App Store and Play Experience: Having shipped applications to the App Store and Play, as well as automated build/test processes, is desirable.
