Production Manager Job Overview

The Production Manager plays a vital role in overseeing and coordinating all production activities.

  • Plan and schedule production activities to meet business goals and deadlines effectively.
  • Manage resources, time, and manpower efficiently to optimize production output.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the production team to ensure high performance and accountability.
  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address production challenges and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments (e.g., Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) for smooth operations.
  • Prepare and analyze production MIS reports to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • 8–10 years of proven experience in Production Management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in a similar industry is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in production planning, team management, and process optimization is required.
