Operational Finance Expertise

About the role

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in operational finance, driving process improvements and standardization across global operations. They will collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective end-to-end solutions, delivering enhanced efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead global process improvement initiatives, focusing on standardization, simplification, and automation of transactional activities.
  • Ensure consistent service delivery across units, collaborating with business, finance, and technology stakeholders to meet customer needs.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Ensure compliance with global procedures and operating methodologies, refining them for continuous improvement.
  • End-to-end procure-to-pay knowledge, guiding the service provider to improve efficiency in operations.
  • Understand VDMS and vendor management, focusing on improving vendor-related metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify operational processes and automate them using bot solutions, creating more efficiencies.
  • Review and revise global standard operating procedures (SOPs) to align with improved processes.
  • Ensure consistent levels of service delivery by the service provider, engaging with units to improve or sustain them.
  • Define and update Risk and Control Matrix (RACM), review and resolve RACM audit findings.
  • Provide support and guidance to the business through implementation of standardized processes and controls.
  • Plan and conduct reviews on financial and operational aspects, identifying control deficiencies and suggesting improvements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant with minimum 5 years of experience in F&A, at least 3 years of exposure to operational finance preferred.
  • Semi-qualified Accountant with minimum 8 years of accounting and finance experience, at least 3 years of exposure to operational finance preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, exposure to operate with senior finance teams, leading and developing remote teams.
  • Non-positional influencing skills.
  • Hands-on with accounting principles and procedures.
  • Internal Accounting Standards knowledge.
  • Strong written + verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP finance modules.
  • Proficiency in advanced MS Excel.
  • English Proficiency.
