The Role
As a Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in financial operations, assist in transactional processes, and support reporting and compliance activities. You will also contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while learning how data informs decision-making across the organization. We provide an excellent opportunity to build practical skills in finance, work closely with experienced professionals, and develop a strong foundation for a career in financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and check day-to-day financial transactions,
- Assist in preparing basic financial reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow),
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering and organizing data,
- Help maintain financial trackers and spreadsheets,
- Work with teams to provide simple reports and updates,
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable entries,
- Support month-end closing activities like reconciliations and documentation,
- Provide data for tax filings and audits when needed,
- Create simple dashboards, presentations, and summaries for internal use,
- Contribute to small process improvement tasks and ad-hoc finance projects
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field Pursuing CA
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in Tally, Quickbooks, Zoho, Xero
