We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst/Underwriter to lead our team in India and underwrite deals for the US market. As a key member of our credit function, you will work closely with our Credit Committee in New York to ensure seamless functioning of the credit process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of analysts in underwriting deals for the US market.
  • Work closely with the Credit Committee in New York to ensure efficient credit processing.
  • Ensure high-quality credit analysis and train and mentor the team to adhere to underwriting quality metrics.
  • Oversee daily underwriting pipelines and queues to ensure timely movement, balanced workloads, and efficient resource allocation.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for escalated or complex underwriting scenarios, providing guidance and resolving issues to support smooth loan flow.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A PG/Master's degree from a premier college with a specialization in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Additional financial qualifications such as CFA Level 2+ or FRM Level 2.
  • Experience in credit analysis, especially in the real estate industry, with exposure to the US market an advantage.
  • Leadership experience in managing a small team of highly skilled analysts.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
