As a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator, you will lead our team in managing database operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our enterprise environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • We are seeking an expert in Intersystems IRIS/Cache(Ensemble) administration to implement security best practices and access control policies.
  • You will be responsible for capacity planning and performance tuning, as well as designing and implementing backup strategies in IRIS.
  • A key aspect of this role is designing and implementing disaster recovery strategies, ensuring high availability and interoperability.
  • You will also implement reporting/mirroring, IRIS installation, upgrades, and database patching.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential for complex issues.
  • This position requires managing database maintenance solutions and implementing monitoring and other support tools in IRIS.
  • Familiarity with database design and data modeling is crucial, as well as experience in integrating IRIS with ETL/BI software.
  • Prior experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow) and release management systems (Azure DevOps) is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Azure and Agile principles is also desired.

We are looking for someone with expertise in administrating Intersystems IRIS/Cache(Ensemble) and strong understanding of database design and data modeling.

Requirements
  • At least 2+ years of experience in database development in a large enterprise environment.
  • Expertise in administering Intersystems IRIS/Cache(Ensemble).
