Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Collections Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving recoveries on overdue loans by engaging with customers, negotiating settlements, and ensuring account closures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage delinquent customers via calls to follow up on overdue payments.
  • Manage loan portfolios across different days past due buckets.
  • Offer closure, settlement, or restructuring options aligned with internal policies.
  • Maintain calling discipline and track promises to pay, callbacks, and payments.
  • Ensure compliance standards are met in customer communication and data handling.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer experience through professional, respectful communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 1–3 years of experience in collections or recoveries, ideally in personal, business, or auto loans with financial institutions.
  • Prior experience in tele-calling or collections call centers is a must.
  • DRA certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of recovery/settlement documentation and processes.
  • Fluency in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
