Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Database Professional to manage, secure, and optimize SQL Server environments in Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing complex database systems, ensuring high availability, cost-efficiency, and security.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and administering SQL Server databases on-premises and in the cloud, planning and implementing Azure SQL Subscription services for high availability and cost-efficiency, performing database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and monitoring, configuring disaster recovery, backups, and high availability solutions, implementing security policies, access controls, and compliance standards, migrating databases from on-premises SQL Server to Azure SQL, and collaborating with development and DevOps teams for CI/CD and database lifecycle management.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server and Azure SQL Subscription management
  • Strong experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting database issues
  • Deep knowledge of T-SQL, backup/recovery, replication, indexing, and security configurations
