Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in promoting or selling company products or services through phone, web, fax, or mail communication
  • Provide basic customer support and refer complex problems to other staff members
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of products and services offered
  • Prepare and follow up on customer quotes as required
  • Provide pricing and availability information to customers
  • Request and coordinate discounted prices on large orders
  • Maintain required call quality levels
  • Input all sales orders resulting from customer negotiations
  • Sell additional products through suggestive selling techniques
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Competencies and Skills
  • 2+ years of sales or call center experience is a plus
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated high level of dependability
  • Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Explorer, and Outlook
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, handle multiple tasks, and work under time constraints
