Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Professional to lead our organization's safety initiatives.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in implementing and monitoring Environment, Health & Safety policies, programs, and procedures across various industries.

A key aspect of this role is conducting and ensuring worker/staff training on safety laws, regulations, hazard monitoring, and the use of safety equipment.

This position requires identifying and eliminating unsafe practices and conditions through regular inspections and audits.

Ongoing maintenance of firefighting equipment, personal protective gear, and other safety devices is also a critical responsibility.

The ideal candidate will enhance health and safety awareness within the organization and ensure compliance with all relevant EHS legal requirements.

This includes presenting findings to senior management and coordinating training for safety personnel on first aid, accident prevention, and investigation, as well as workplace inspections and related matters.

Key Deliverables include 'Zero Tolerance' and 'Accident-Free Man-hours.'

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering or Industrial Safety recognized by State Technical Education Boards;
  • Advance Diploma/Post-Diploma in Industrial Safety or B.Tech/Master's in Industrial Safety Engineering;
  • National Examination Board for Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) International General Certificate (IGC) or Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) certification;
  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in Utilities, Process, and Construction industries with an in-depth understanding of EHS standards including ISO 14001 and 45001.
