Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of analytics experts as a Growth Analyst. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.

You will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Your findings will inform marketing strategies, product development, and business decisions, enabling us to stay ahead of the competition and achieve our goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement your recommendations and measure their impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cohort Analysis: Conduct comprehensive cohort analysis using AppsFlyer data to track user acquisition, retention, and revenue performance across different user segments and acquisition channels.
  • Growth Metrics: Calculate and monitor key growth metrics including Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), Return on Investment (ROI), ROAS, payback periods, and customer acquisition costs (CAC).
  • Attribution Models: Build and maintain advanced attribution models to measure marketing campaign effectiveness and optimize budget allocation across channels.
  • Data Pipeline Development: Collaborate with data engineers to design, optimize, and maintain data pipelines that process AppsFlyer raw data for analytical purposes.
  • Complex SQL Queries: Develop complex SQL queries in Snowflake to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets for growth insights.
  • Dashboards: Create and maintain interactive dashboards in Metabase to visualize key performance metrics and provide self-service analytics for stakeholders.
  • A/B Testing Frameworks: Design and execute A/B testing frameworks to evaluate the impact of product changes and marketing campaigns on growth metrics.
  • Client Partnerships: Partner with client teams (marketing, product, finance) to optimize campaigns, identify growth features, and align analytics with business planning.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and benchmark performance.
  • Predictive Modeling: Create predictive models to forecast user behavior, revenue projections, and campaign performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Growth Analyst, Marketing Analyst, or similar analytical role, preferably in mobile app or SaaS environments.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation and analysis, with specific experience in Snowflake data warehousing.
  • Advanced experience with Metabase for creating interactive dashboards and self-service analytics solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with mobile attribution platforms, with specific expertise in AppsFlyer data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, cohort analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Deep understanding of mobile app growth metrics including LTV, CAC, ROAS, retention rates, and revenue attribution models.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for advanced analytics and statistical modeling.
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies, experimental design, and statistical significance testing.
  • Experience working as a contractor or consultant, with ability to quickly integrate into client teams and deliver results.
Preferred Skills
  • Master's degree in a relevant quantitative field.
  • Experience with additional BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Knowledge of ETL processes, data pipeline development, and workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques for predictive analytics and customer behavior modeling.
  • Previous experience in mobile gaming, e-commerce, fintech, or other high-growth mobile app industries.
  • Knowledge of additional mobile analytics platforms (Adjust, Branch, Singular) and customer data platforms (CDPs).
  • Understanding of incrementality testing, media mix modeling, and privacy-first measurement approaches (SKAdNetwork).
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on analytics and attribution.
  • Previous consulting experience with successful client engagements and proven track record of driving data-driven decisions.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to translate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
