Seawall Engineer Specialist

Key to a successful port development project is the design and construction of robust seawall systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, planning, and construction of breakwater structures to ensure protection of coastal infrastructure.
  • Oversee port expansion projects ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Apply expertise in hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to optimize seawall protection systems.
  • Work closely with government bodies, environmental agencies, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth execution of the project and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • E nsure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact during construction.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in coastal engineering, port development, or seawall construction projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing seawall systems including knowledge of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
  • Ability to manage large teams and collaborate across departments to meet project objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in challenging coastal environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
  • Coastal Engineering Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience working in similar regions or on international coastal development projects.
