**Senior Marine Engineer Opportunity**

This is an exciting chance to lead the structural engineering team for port projects, encompassing design, analysis, and execution of key components such as breakwaters, jetties, quays, docks, and seawalls.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Marine Engineer to oversee the development and implementation of innovative structural solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a focus on marine and port infrastructure. They should possess excellent leadership skills, be able to work collaboratively with contractors and other stakeholders, and have a deep understanding of risk management and safety protocols.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead Structural Engineering: Oversee the design, analysis, and execution of structural components, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met.
  • Project Management: Provide technical leadership and oversight for project execution, guaranteeing effective coordination and communication among team members.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with contractors, consultants, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration and coordination.
  • Risk & Safety Management: Oversee risk mitigation strategies and safety measures to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Site Supervision & Quality Assurance: Supervise construction activities and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.

Desired Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on marine and port infrastructure.
  • Post Graduate degree in Structural Engineering, specializing in marine structures or coastal engineering.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software and strong understanding of marine structures.
  • Ability to lead teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Expertise in contract management, procurement, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
