We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airfield Engineer to lead our aviation team in India.

CORE Functions:

  • Deliver airfield civil engineering design and maintenance projects through various stages of design from feasibility to construction for clients worldwide.
  • Lead teams of engineers in delivering technical projects, providing leadership, direction and planning workloads.
  • Prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings and specifications related to the delivery of airfield engineering projects.
  • Contribute to technical design reviews and participate in the design process to provide expert input.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate designs with team members, industry associates and Clients.
  • Identify and manage design risks, issues and RFIs.
  • Support Project Managers by undertaking project progress monitoring and contributing to project controls.

Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with experience working on large airport projects.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure design at airports.
  • Strong knowledge of international airfield design standards such as ICAO and FAA.
  • Competent self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking and prioritisation of responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet business objectives.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other relevant airfield engineering software packages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Chartered or Incorporated Status (MICE, MCIHT) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction contracts such as NEC 4.
