Job Overview:

This role involves implementing, managing and prioritizing ethics & compliance program activities and initiatives for the South Asia region.

  • Partner with South Asia senior management in collaboration with the General Counsel, South Asia, to foster an ethical culture through communication and demonstration of ethical and compliance standards aligned with dentsu's Code of Conduct and policies.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessment, working with internal functions and market senior management to identify and assess compliance risks, develop and report mitigation actions.
  • Contribute to enterprise risk management process.
  • Investigate alleged Code of Conduct and policy breaches, monitor execution of disciplinary actions and remediation activities.
  • Conduct risk-based ethics and compliance training for improved understanding and decision making aligned with dentsu's Code of Conduct and key policies.
  • Collaborate with Communications team to provide regular and timely ethics and compliance related communication in consultation with the General Counsel, South Asia.
  • Implement monitoring of third party due diligence, review and resolve red flags with internal functions and business partners.
  • Operationalize key policies (e.g. Anti-corruption, Gift and Hospitality and Conflicts of Interest Policies) and embed relevant processes including red flag identification and resolution within business processes and decision-making.
  • Lead and facilitate the implementation of the Ethics & Compliance Agenda of the Risk and Compliance Committee meetings and follow through on actions arising.
  • Implement dashboards, scorecards and presentations to highlight ethics and compliance gaps and highlight good practice.
  • Respond to compliance related queries from staff, management and Legal and Compliance colleagues, supporting responses to client inquiries.
  • Support M&A, compliance due diligence process and integration activities.
  • Support global and APAC regional ethics and compliance initiatives, contributing to global and regional program strategy and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
  • 10+ years experience in compliance and ethics roles.
  • Prior experience in South Asia region desirable.

Salary: ₹15,00,000 - ₹25,00,000 per annum, depending on experience.
