The role of Director Sales & Handling is a key position within Lufthansa Cargo AG, responsible for leading our sales teams in the South Asian region. As a seasoned professional, you will be expected to develop and implement effective strategies to drive business growth and achieve ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage high-performing sales teams to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and maximum revenue generation.
  • Collaborate closely with regional markets and internal stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and optimize existing relationships.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the airfreight logistics industry, preferably with at least 4 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of international airline and logistics structures, with fluency in English and proficiency in local languages such as Marathi and Hindi.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, think strategically, and drive results-oriented teams.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately ₹120 lakhs per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
