Job Title: Production Operations Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced production operations supervisor to oversee daily production operations, ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently.

This role involves monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with the maintenance team to optimize production processes and minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and team management skills, excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, and good communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily production operations during assigned shifts, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting production targets.
  • Monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to repair and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Lead and motivate a team of operators, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their job responsibilities and performance expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare accurate shift reports documenting production performance, identifying areas for process improvement, and assisting in implementing solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising production operations teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with expertise in monitoring equipment performance and troubleshooting issues.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including maintenance and operations staff.
  • Familiarity with production processes and manufacturing operations, including knowledge of quality control tools and techniques.
  • Proficient in using production management software, such as ERP systems and MES.
