Transfer Agency Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Transfer Agency - Team Member to oversee day-to-day operations and regulatory compliance related to core investor transaction processing. This role requires in-depth knowledge of SEBI and AMFI regulations and experience with various software and processes to enhance automation and operational efficiency.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Transfer Agent Activities: Monitor activities such as account opening, subscriptions, redemptions, and payout processing. Ensure the Transfer Agent adheres to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • NFO Management: Manage end-to-end processes for New Fund Offers (NFO), including ISIN creations, coordination with various teams, and investor confirmations.
  • ETF Processing: Handle ETF order processing.
  • Transaction Reporting: Coordinate with branches, sales, channel partners, and transfer agents to ensure effective reporting of transactions to the cash management and fund management teams.
  • Financial Controls: Maintain controls on unit allotments, capital movement, and payouts. Manage fund movement between various bank accounts.
  • Reconciliation & Audits: Review reconciliations performed by the Transfer Agent and coordinate with the Fund Administrator and Custodian. Handle various internal, inspection, and statutory audits.
  • Technology Integration: Interface with the technology team to create and support digital platforms for investor servicing and activities.
  • Client Grievances: Ensure proper resolution of client grievances by the RTA in coordination with the client servicing team.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to process automation, system workflows, and enhancements to improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep Knowledge of: SEBI and AMFI regulations applicable to the asset management industry, particularly regarding investor servicing, transfer agent activities, NFOs, and risk frameworks.
  • Expertise in: Transfer Agent (TA) operations and regulatory deliverables.
  • Familiarity with: ETF processing.
  • Experience in using: Various software and processes to integrate core systems and enhance automation.

Essential Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in: Finance, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
