Job Overview

 

  • Design and implement IT Service Management processes in a cloud-based platform, focusing on Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Service Portal, and IT Operations Management.
  • Develop and deploy ServiceNow solutions, including core setup, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, LDAP integration, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations.
  • Configure advanced features like Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Script Includes, Client Scripts, workflows, custom tables, reports, etc.
  • Ensure the delivery of biweekly sprints for the development team and meet platform incident SLAs.
  • Lead daily stand-up calls with the development team, business analysts, and process owners.
  • Review proposed designs with stakeholders and lead technical design meetings.
  • Collaborate with Platform Architects to ensure designs meet development guidelines and best practices.
  • Coordinate offshore development team activities with onshore process owners and requestors.
  • Work with Platform and Project Management teams to ensure enhancements are delivered completely, accurately, and timely.
  • Coach offshore development resources to close technical and soft skill gaps during weekly mentoring sessions.
  • Provide leadership and participate in vetting new requirements on the platform.
  • Stay current on cloud-based products and applicable integrated technologies.
  • Drive process improvements and ensure process adherence for the offshore development team.
  • Contribute to biweekly sprints.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • ITIL Foundations V3 certification desired.
  • ServiceNow Administrator Certification.
  • Certified ServiceNow Developer Certification desired.
  • Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification desired.
  • 3+ years working in a cloud-based environment.
  • 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience developing in PHP, Java, Python, Ruby, .Net, or Perl.
  • Scripting (JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, Jelly) and REST API experience preferred.
  • 3 years of experience working in a similarly complex technical organization.
  • Ability to translate details into specific tasks needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem.
  • Ability to problem solve and work well in complex, ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
  • Proven ability to navigate the technology environment and work effectively with multiple groups.
