Job Title: Senior Business Strategy Leader

About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business strategy and planning for our footwear category across India. To succeed in this role, you will need to understand the dynamics of various channels - retail, wholesale, distribution, and e-commerce - and use this knowledge to strengthen our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive overall business strategy and planning for footwear category across India.
  • Understand the dynamics of each channel - retail, wholesale, distribution, and e-commerce - to strengthen our business.
  • Develop and implement effective operational plans and governance structures to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of business strategies.
  • Define and implement annual buy plans for footwear categories.
  • Govern agreed Gross Margin percentage deliverables for the business.
  • Manage and plan COGS% to MRP for each season.
  • For local manufacturing, measure and monitor factory KPIs and ensure vendor scorecards are maintained, including on-time-in-full (OTIF) and in-time delivery percentages.
  • Plan and drive factory production capacity planning.
  • Ensure that tooling requirements align with sales orders.
  • Align factories to communicate effectively with global teams and define Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and industry best practices in planning and reporting.
  • Prepare detailed analytics with clear action points on a continuous basis, including production tracking tools, to provide effective and timely visibility to the brand.
  • Visit production facilities regularly to discuss production planning and weekly/monthly dispatches.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be qualified from FDDI or NIFT or have experience in production planning.
  • Experience working with footwear divisions is required.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work as part of a team, and have a sense of urgency.
  • Strong process orientation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to follow procedures and multitask in fast-paced environments.
  • Flexible work schedule with ability to work extended hours as needed.
