Job Opportunity:

The Products and Services Marketplace organization in Product Engineering is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive product and technology programs. The ideal candidate will oversee high-priority, high-profile programs and collaborate closely with engineering and product leaders to drive critical programs in the organization.

Candidates should possess a solid track record of program management and demonstrated excellence in technical, leadership, organizational, and communication skills. They should also be natural motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced innovative environment.

This role involves owning successful delivery of large, high-impact, highly cross-functional programs by leveraging deep technical expertise to develop detailed plans with key milestones and goals, identify and mitigate risks, solve for dependencies, remove impediments, and ensure timely and smooth program launches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning successful delivery of large, high impact and highly cross-functional programs
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects/programs
  • Developing strong partnerships with engineering and product management leaders
  • Driving teams and individuals in planning and executing roadmaps, releases, and work backlogs
  • Ensuring cross-team alignment on goals, priorities, roadmap, schedules, communications, and releases to all stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of full-time technical program management experience within an engineering or technical team
  • B.S./B.A. degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple major and concurrent projects/programs
  • Demonstrated success driving the development program of world-class online products
  • Significant experience working with software engineering leadership, technical teams, individual contributors, and external clients
