Job Title: Senior Director of Quality Assurance

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Quality Assurance function. As a Senior Director, you will oversee the development and implementation of quality systems across R&D and pilot stages.

  • Lead quality assurance initiatives to ensure first-time-right, scalable product designs.
  • Develop and maintain robust stage gate systems to ensure products meet commercial viability and scalability standards.
  • Design experiments, DOE, hypothesis studies, and protocols for experiments, process development, and robustness evaluation.
  • Play a key role in technology transfer from R&D to pilot plant and site level, ensuring smooth transition and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage overall DQA & Kilo Lab budget, including capex, opex, hiring, and retention of talent.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, standards, guidelines, and customer requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of crystallization principles, techniques, and equipment, including batch and continuous crystallization methods.
  • Study and improve material flowability and free-flow characteristics of API/ingredients, powders, and supplements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • MSc/MPharm - Chemistry or relevant field.
  • 16-24 years of experience in API/Intermediate/Fine chemical industry.
  • Sound knowledge of Fine chemical, DQA is a must, with good knowledge of product development at R&D stage.
