Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fund Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing daily cash reporting, reconciling movements in capacity, loan balances, and forecast capacity, and reviewing short-term forecasts for each fund and vehicle.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fund accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have experience working independently and prioritizing a large and varied workload.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing daily cash reporting for active private equity secondaries funds by collating data from administrators, banking providers, and internal forecasts.
  • Reconciling movements in capacity, loan balances, and forecast capacity to prior day reporting.
  • Reviewing short-term forecasts for each fund and vehicle to formulate proposals for near-term cash management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate qualifications or equivalent.
  • At least 9 years of experience in fund accounting.
  • Managing and/or leading employees for 2-3 years.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of PCAP and quarterly preparing PCAP.
  • Ability to work hands-on, delving into projects with a strong attention to detail and emphasis on producing a high-quality work product.
