Job Summary:
A senior professional oversees the delivery of accurate and timely Net Asset Values (NAVs), performs various types of reconciliations, and utilizes technical expertise to ensure seamless fund accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages open- and closed-end hedge funds, integrates trades, and conducts thorough reconciliations.
  • Accurately accounts for and books corporate actions trades, ensuring alignment with relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly Global Assets Valued (GAV)/NAV reports, including capital activity booking, market value reconciliation, profit and loss computation, expense accounting, dividend accrual reconciliation, bond coupon accrual reconciliation, and trial balance verification.
  • Provides in-depth understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), prepares and reviews financial statements.
  • Maintains excellent communication skills, works under tight deadlines, and adheres to standard operating procedures.

Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant or Master of Business Administration (MBA) with 5+ years of experience.
  • In-depth understanding of US GAAP and IFRS, as well as financial markets products (equity, bonds, futures, options, FX forwards).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Certification in financial markets/products a plus; experience with general ledger accounting software and mutual funds accounting/audit also desirable.
