Fund accounting plays a vital role in the financial sector. As a senior fund accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of fund data.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily and monthly NAV/GAV calculations with precision.
  • Conduct manual PnL and NAV calculations to ensure accuracy and reconciliation with Geneva outputs.
  • Process and value complex instruments such as Private Equity, Bonds, Forwards, Swaps, and others.
  • Reconcile daily cash and positions with brokers and custodians.
  • Create and review accounting entries in Geneva software.
  • Oversee end-to-end fund accounting and investment operations for assigned clients.
  • Manage multi-currency portfolio accounting, income and expense accruals, and dividend processing.
  • Prepare financial statements in compliance with US GAAP/IFRS standards.
  • Coordinate with auditors and support year-end audit and financial closure.
  • Calculate drawdown, distribution, equalization, and waterfall based on fund documents.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on Geneva software, knowledge of fund accounting principles, and hands-on experience with derivative instruments. Strong analytical and manual calculation skills are essential. Familiarity with global accounting/reporting standards (US GAAP, IFRS) and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working on Geneva software (preferably Advent Geneva).
  • Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles, with a focus on Private Equity and Alternative Assets.
  • Hands-on experience with Bonds, Swaps, Forwards, and other derivative instruments.
  • Solid understanding of GAV/NAV methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and manual calculation skills.
  • Familiarity with global accounting/reporting standards (US GAAP, IFRS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
