Compliance Professional Job Opening

Mizuho Global Services, a leading company in the industry, is seeking a skilled Compliance Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governance risk and compliance, with experience in implementing ISO 27001 standards and managing risks related to information security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks related to information security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • ISO 27001 Implementation: Lead the implementation and maintenance of ISO 27001 standards, including conducting internal audits and managing certification processes.
  • Policy Development: Develop, update, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards, such as GDPR, NIST, and SOX.
  • Audits and Assessments: Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Vendor Risk Management: Evaluate and manage third-party vendors to ensure they meet organizational security requirements.
  • Security Controls: Test and monitor the effectiveness of security controls and recommend enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Team Player: A good team player who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Documentation Skills: Strong documentation skills are required for creating and maintaining security policies, procedures, and records.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, or ISO 27001 are desirable but not mandatory.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of work experience in a similar role and possess relevant hands-on experience in risk management, risk assessment, control assessment, control review, control testing, ITGC Control, Gap Analysis, policy development, and information security officer roles.

A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computers, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Information Technology systems is required.
