About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned expert to lead our Energy Consulting Vertical in technology project management. This role involves collaborating with leading energy organizations to drive digital transformation and lead large-scale programs that align with strategic business objectives.


You will be responsible for delivering measurable business impact while effectively balancing scope, schedule, and cost across complex initiatives. Success in this role demands a strong consulting mindset, deep technology expertise, and robust project management capabilities to navigate the unique challenges and opportunities within the energy sector.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Gathering, identifying, and documenting business requirements and creating functional specifications for new systems and processes.
  • Assessing as-is processes, conducting gap analysis, designing to-be processes, and recommending changes. Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or similar methodologies to drive continuous improvement in technology projects.
  • Drive strategic delivery of large-scale technology programs within the energy sector, leveraging Agile and DevOps practices in a globally distributed, multi-vendor environment.
  • Lead complex projects with full lifecycle ownership, collaborating closely with client stakeholders and IT PMO.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure alignment across technical and business teams.
  • Support digital solution implementation, including business case development, IT strategy, and tool selection.

The ideal candidate will have:


  • 7+ years driving technology transformation initiatives in business-facing roles such as Business Analysis, Product Design, or Project Management, particularly within digital programs in the Oil & Gas/Utilities domain.
  • 4+ years as a Technical Project Manager leading software development or implementation projects, with proven success in the energy, oil & gas, or utilities sectors.
  • Strong experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, managing globally distributed teams and multi-vendor environments.
  • Skilled in coordinating across client stakeholders, technology vendors, and IT PMO to ensure strategic alignment and successful delivery.
  • Broad understanding of one or more modern digital technologies (e.g., Robotic Process Automation, Digital Transformation, Business Intelligence, AI/ML, Big Data, Data Analytics, IoT).
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), modern software architectures (e.g., microservices, APIs), DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project.
