Job Title: Customer Service Ambassador

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
  • Handle various payment types, including cash, checks, debit, credit, and room charges.
  • Manage check-outs, resolving late and disputed charges as needed.
  • Respond to and record guest calls, messages, requests, and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure readiness of rooms for check-in.
  • Communicate parking procedures and dispatch bell or valet staff when necessary.
  • Provide directions and information on the property and local areas of interest to guests.
  • Run daily reports, identify special requests, and verify report accuracy.
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
  • Cash personal checks and travelers checks from guests.
  • Count bank balances at the beginning and end of shifts.
  • Balance and deposit receipts according to Accounting specifications.
  • Maintain company safety and security policies, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
  • Follow all company policies, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and provide excellent service to guests.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during the workday.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: None required.
  • Supervisory Experience: Not necessary.
  • License or Certification: None.
