Senior Credit Analyst Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough credit evaluations by researching industry trends and financial data, resulting in a comprehensive credit memo that includes a profit & loss statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
  • Develop effective presentations for senior management using PowerPoint to ensure key deliverables are understood and aligned with company objectives.
  • Oversee the disbursement of approved deals while coordinating with internal stakeholders to guarantee timely and accurate execution.
  • Submit regular monitoring reports to top management detailing progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure prompt payment of interest and principal amounts from clients.
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to inform assessment and strategy development.
  • Train and mentor junior analysts and management trainees to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong foundation in industry, financial, and credit principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Sound knowledge of underwriting in corporate/wholesale lending.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and create actionable insights.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing comprehensive credit memos.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling with MS Excel, including creation, reading, and maintenance of models.
