Job Overview

Risk Analysis and Management Expertise

The Risk Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and reviewing credit risk models and associated frameworks in an unsecured rural/semi-urban lending context.

  • Develop and implement credit risk models to analyze potential risks and identify areas of concern.
  • Monitor credit risk strategies across the lending life cycle, including acquisition, underwriting, cross-sell, and collections.
  • Review portfolio performance on a periodic basis, analyzing trends and identifying early warning signals.
  • Analyze industry data to prepare management information systems (MIS) and dashboards, and provide insights to senior management on changing market conditions.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier college.
  • 3-6 years of experience in managing risk in a non-banking financial company (NBFC), fintech, or lending environment.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL is mandatory.
  • Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Solid knowledge of statistical models and their applications.
  • Experience in microfinance or MSME lending is highly desirable.

  • Development and implementation of credit risk models.
  • Monitoring and review of credit risk strategies.
  • Analysis of industry data and preparation of MIS.
  • Communication of insights and recommendations to senior management.
