Job Description

The Site Reliability Engineering team is responsible for driving efficiency and performance. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing tools, services, and infrastructure that support the ThousandEyes platform.

Our team focuses on streamlining operations, managing cloud resources, and ensuring optimal resource utilization and performance. We strive to enhance the overall performance and reliability of our services by strategically managing cloud resources and infrastructure.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to design and implement scalable and well-tested solutions with a focus on streamlining operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience in cloud preferably AWS, with a strong understanding of Unix/Linux systems, the kernel, system libraries, file systems, and client-server protocols.
  • Previous experience in AWS cost management, with a good understanding of Prometheus and its ecosystem, including Alertmanager.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code skills, ideally with Terraform and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to write high-quality code in Python, Go, or equivalent languages.
