Senior Site Reliability Engineer

The primary objective of this role is to lead the optimization of cloud resources and infrastructure, ensuring the overall performance and reliability of our services. This involves strategically managing cloud resources and infrastructure to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

This position requires a high degree of technical expertise, particularly in designing and implementing scalable and well-tested solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud computing, preferably AWS, and strong skills in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and well-tested solutions for cloud resource management
  • Develop and maintain efficient infrastructure configurations using Terraform and Kubernetes
  • Manage and optimize AWS cost intelligence to ensure optimal resource utilization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective incident response and on-call rotation strategies
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service reliability and performance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies
  • Expertise in designing and implementing scalable and well-tested solutions
  • Hands-on experience in cloud computing, preferably AWS
  • Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Kubernetes
  • Previous experience in AWS cost management
  • Understanding of Prometheus and its ecosystem, including Alertmanager
  • Ability to write high-quality code in Python, Go, or equivalent languages
  • Good understanding of Unix/Linux systems, kernel, system libraries, file systems, and client-server protocols
